Video ‘How to: Paint a quick and easy Tempered Metal Effect’
It’s a Bank Holiday Bonus video. In this video I’ll be showing you how to paint a quick and easy tempered/scorched metal effect. I tend to use this on my meltaguns, and from the picture on the video you can see the effects on two Sons of Horus Breachers. This can be done over a flat Leadbelcher (or other metallic) coat, or a Leadbelcher shaded with Nuln Oil coat.
A link to a step by step guide, and the paints used, can be found below the video:
A link to a post I did on this from 2017 (transferred to our new site in 2018) can be found here:

If you want to support the channel, we’ve set up a Ko-fi page where, if you want, you can buy us a coffee. Any money raised through the site, channel and Ko-fi is put back into the channel for hosting and storage fees etc. We also have an affiliate link for Element Games on the right hands side of the page. If you click through that link and buy anything from them, we get a small amount of money from each purchase. This is entirely optional and there’s no pressure to do so.
