Video ‘How to: Paint a Wooden Door’
In the first of the fantasy/dungeon crawler/rpg videos, I’ll be taking you through a quick and easy way of painting wooden doors. As the line of sight blocker in corridors, tunnels and rooms, they look good with a lick of paint, and the Mantic Games Dungeon Saga ones are no exception.
I used a limited palette, so it’s ideal for beginner painters, or more long term painters if you’re looking for a quick way of painting doors. Though I’ve used a mix of Vallejo and Citadel paints, so long as you have a brown, grey, metallic, back and white and two/three shades you’ll have no problems.
A full list of paints are listed below the video:
Paints:
Citadel Mechanicus Standard Grey
Citadel Leadbelcher
Vallejo Flames of War Flat Earth
Vallejo Black
Vallejo White
Shades:
Citadel Nuln Oil
Citadel Agrax Earthshade
Citadel Athonian Camoshade (not absolutely required)
Brushes:
Citadel Medium Layer Brush
Citadel Small Layer Brush (OOOOOLD)
