In the first of the fantasy/dungeon crawler/rpg videos, I’ll be taking you through a quick and easy way of painting wooden doors. As the line of sight blocker in corridors, tunnels and rooms, they look good with a lick of paint, and the Mantic Games Dungeon Saga ones are no exception.
I used a limited palette, so it’s ideal for beginner painters, or more long term painters if you’re looking for a quick way of painting doors. Though I’ve used a mix of Vallejo and Citadel paints, so long as you have a brown, grey, metallic, back and white and two/three shades you’ll have no problems.
A full list of paints are listed below the video:
Citadel Mechanicus Standard Grey
Vallejo Flames of War Flat Earth
Citadel Nuln Oil
Citadel Agrax Earthshade
Citadel Athonian Camoshade (not absolutely required)
Citadel Medium Layer Brush
Citadel Small Layer Brush (OOOOOLD)
If you feel inclined and are able to do so, we’d really appreciate your support. You can buy us a coffee.:
You don’t need to, but any funds we receive will be put back into Brush and Boltgun, be it paints, brushes, site upkeep, etc. You’re by no means obliged, we want our tutorials to be free for anyone who wants to use them.
