Video ‘How to Paint Plate Armour’
Continuing the tutorials on fantasy and RPG type miniatures, this is a very quick tutorial on how to paint plate armour. It’s used on miniatures from historical games like Saga through to sci fi games like Warhammer 40k, but this quick and easy method should have it looking great for the tabletop.
Although I used Model Air Chrome to highlight, you could just as easily use Citadel Mithril Silver, Necron Compound or Ironbreaker to highlight. As long as it’s a lighter colour than the original metallic you can’t go far wrong.
A full list of paints is below the video
Paints:
Citadel Leadbelcher
Vallejo Model Air Chrome
Shades:
Citadel Nuln Oil
Brushes:
Citadel Small Layer Brush (OOOOOLD!)

Any money raised through the site, channel and Ko-fi is put back into the channel for hosting and storage fees etc. We also have an affiliate link for Element Games on the right hands side of the page. If you click through that link and buy anything from them, we get a small amount of money from each purchase. This is entirely optional and there’s no pressure to do so.
