Video ‘How to paint Celestine, the Living Saint’

In this tutorial I’ll be going through how to paint up Celestine, the Living Saint so that she looks great on the tabletop. As the video goes through, you’ll spot a LOT of white which you want to get as crisp and clean as you can (on the wings for example).

There’s a video linked when I start painting up the details on the scrolls which shows the painting of parts of them in slower time. The details on the scroll do take up a long time, but it’s worth taking your time on them as they can really make a difference on the model.

In hindsight, I’d probably paint the face before gluing the hair on, as it covers some of the face to the extent where it’s pretty difficult to paint certain areas (her right eye).

Initially the miniature is sprayed with Citadel Retributor Armour (spray can), and the wings sprayed with Halfords White Primer.
