Video: ‘How to paint William Kidd, Blood and Plunder Legendary Commander’

In this video I’ll be tackling one of Blood and Plunder’s Legendary Commanders, William Kidd. A quick online search will give you heaps of information on the real life William Kidd and his exploits as a privateer/pirate, and you can add him as part of your crew in Blood and Plunder. It’s a great miniature which contains a lot more clothing and less armour than I’m used to, and being made of metal it was interesting as I haven’t painted a metal miniature in a long time.

What’s brought on the pirate painting you ask? Well in 2018 I dived in on a Blood and Plunder Kickstarter with Adam and Dave, and failed to paint any of the miniatures in that time, so my aim is to get them all painted up pronto, as their Raise the Black Kickstarter started yesterday, and I wanted to have my old stuff finished before the new stuff arrives. If you like pirates or enjoyed Black Sails, check out the Kickstarter as the game is and there’s a lot of new plastics on the way!
