Video ‘How to paint Ultramarines MkII Assault Marines’

In this video I’ll be painting up one of the MkII Assault Marines from Forge World in the colours of the Ultramarines. It’s the first Ultramarine miniature I’ve painted up for my 30k army, other than Guilliman, and I’m pleased with the results. One thing I will say is the resin, though detailed has a lot of bits I’m not keen on painting – the corners are sharp and sometimes overhang in weird ways so painting can be a pain, and some surfaces aren’t as smooth as they should be. Still, boss miniatures – hopefully we’ll see them in plastic one day.
