Video ‘How to paint Orc Skin, 1’

GW announcing the new MESBG box with Faramir and co defending Osgiliath brought with it the knowledge that I a) really would like to paint up the character models, and b) really needed to paint up Pellenor Fields which pretty much sits sprayed black in a drawer. So, with Morannan orcs featuring in each box, I figured it’d kill three birds with one stone – allow me to paint up some of the backlog, prep videos for future releases, and of course release videos for you lovely people.

This first one is how to paint one of the many types of orc skin that the Morannan orks have. I’ve got five skin type planned for the future, so they may, like the faces vids, crop up during periods when I’ve not got very much hobby time (who knew school holidays tied your hands so much!). It’s worth noting that the heads on these fellows are about 2/3 of the size of a helmetless space marine.
