Video ‘How to paint the Dead of Dunharrow’
In this short video I’ll be painting up one of the Dead of Dunharrow miniatures for the Middle Earth Strategy Battle Game. These spooky, ethereal fellows have loads of almost zombie-like details and are also a potent force on the battlefield. It’s also the first force I’ve finished in over a year, so at the end of the video there’s a short vid of a 360 rotation of the full unit. There’s two ways to paint them, there’s the ‘follow the full video way’ where I add a little bit of colour to them before the ghostly colours go on giving the merest hint of colour to them that they have in the films, while the other way is just following the last few sections of the video (from the Nighthaunt Gloom and Briar Queen Chill) which will give them a pure ethereal and ghostly look. Hopefully either or both will be useful to you.
